Yesterday we witnessed an exciting match as we expected in the previous match report. The spectators want more games like that and we might see another close counter in Melbourne when Renegades take on Sydney Sixers.
Sydney Sixers have lost twice in a row and both the time their batsmen have failed them. Modern day cricket you can’t expect to win matches continuously if you score low amount of runs. Their bowlers have been decent but the batsmen are doing the undone. Tomorrow they have to step up against a formidable side who have shown great batting display so far. Henriques, Denly and Hughes will have a huge responsibility on their shoulder. Tom Curran has been the lone warrior for them so far.
Melbourne will be itching to catch the Hobart side on top of the table. Mohammad Nabi the Afghan International has impressed in both the matches be it ball or bat in hand. Dan Christian haven’t been bought in IPL but after seeing his performance the team owners will scratch their head. Cameron Boyce should be the other name that needs a mention here as he has done a wonderful job with the ball. Overall Renegades will be a happy side going into this encounter.
In the last five matches between them Sydney have won 4 times but the last time they met Renegades won the match with ease. Chasing 112 runs they lost only two wickets and got home. That match was in Docklands so Melbourne would like to repeat the feat.
Sam Harper, Tim Ludeman, Cameron White, Tom Cooper, Beau webstar, Dan Christian, Mohammad Nabi, Cameron Boyce, Jack Wildermuth, Kane Richardson, Usman Khan Shinwari.
Jack Edwards, Joe Denly, Moises Henriques, Jordan silk, Dan Hughes, Sean Abbott, Tom Curran, Lloyd Pope, Ben Dwarsuish, Josh Philippe, Steve O Keefe
Weather- Fine weather with temperature in range of 28-30℃.
Ground- The ground is reasonable with outfield being a little bit slow. But the pitch is very seam friendly and has even bounce so Batters would like it as it will come to the bat nicely
Toss- Toss winning team should bowl first and take the new bowl to talk, restricting to under 160 should be relatively easy to chase here.
Prediction – A rampaging Renegades would not be easy to beat and given Sixers form we predict the Renegades side to be the winner here. Hobart have won three in a row so Renegades would like to catch them today.
