With a high voltage match against Rajasthan Royals, Sunrisers Hyderabad would face Royal Challengers Bangalore in their next game. Sunrisers gave a good fightback despite Royal performance by the home team. They will now face RCB who are still searching for their first win. Get the best of the IPL prediction here.
Most matches of IPL this season are turning out to be nail-biting and have been close. Sunrisers chased a mammoth total in their previous match. Royal Challengers have lost both their previous matches and would be looking for a kickstart to this season. The match between the two teams will be played at Rajiv Gandhi International Stadium, Hyderabad on 31st March 2019.
IPL Prediction Performance Check
In the last match against the Royals, SRH made two changes to the team. They rested Deepak Hooda and Shakib al Hasan and brought in Kane Williamson and Shahbaz Nadeem. This strengthened their batting but somehow exposed their bowling attack. We assume SRH to stick with the same team against RCB.
The opening partnership of David Warner and Jonny Bairstow has been fruitful and we hope it is going to be the best combination of this season.
The openers will be followed by Kane Williamson who is best at the position. Surprising element for SRH has been Vijay Shankar who has provided some solid hitting in the middle overs. Manish Pandey and Yusuf Pathan further down seem to lack some batting depth.
Bowling has been the strength of Hyderabad. Bhuvaneshvar Kumar was a bit expensive in the last match but it should not be counted. Rashid Khan is a player to watch out for. He has proven his bowling and now he is in some serious business with the bat.
Royal Challengers Bangalore
Virat Kohli and AB de Villiers, the top batsmen of the world, took the responsibility of bringing the team close to the victory but with Jasprit Bumrah spoiled the party.
Another season started with two losses and they would like to get on it as early as possible. RCB would focus on their batting as it is the real strength for them. They have got the best T20 batsmen in the side with the likes of Kohli, de Villiers, Shimron Hetmeyer, Moeen Ali and Grandhomme. Parthiv Patel has a big question mark on him.
Kohli and de Villiers are in good form and have taken the matches to close. Hetmeyer and Grandhomme are not at a risk to lose their place as they are expected to perform well.
Bowling has been a real concern area for Bangalore. Navdeep Saini, Siraj, and Umesh Yadav are not the best of the bowling combinations. Chahal is a good T20 bowler but Moeen Ali and Grandhomme are not the ones to depend on.
Head to Head Tipster
Of the 12 matches that these teams have played against each other, Sunrisers have won seven matches and Bangalore has five wins in the bag.
IPL Prediction Playing XI Sunrisers Hyderabad: David Warner, Jonny Bairstow, Kane Williamson, Manish Pandey, Yusuf Pathan, Vijay Shankar, Rashid Khan, Bhuvneshwar Kumar, Sandeep Sharma, Siddarth Kaul, Shahbaz Nadeem
IPL Prediction Playing XI Royal Challengers Bangalore: Virat Kohli, Parthiv Patel, AB de Villiers, Shimron Hetmyer, Moeen Ali, Shivam Dube, Colin de Grandhomme, Umesh Yadav, Mohammed Siraj, Yuzvendra Chahal, Kulwant Khejroliya
Pitch & Weather Condition Tips
Being a day match, it is going to be a hot match with 35 degrees temperature and the sun shining over the head. The pitch has enough pace, bounce and good carry making it favorable for the batsmen. We should expect a high score in the match. Anything around 180 should prove to be competitive.
Toss Prediction Tips
Sunrisers are yet to win the toss. They are happy to field first whenever they get the opportunity at home.
Sunrisers have a good home record since 2016 and have won 16 of their 22 matches at home. RCB looks superior to SRH on paper by only by an edge. They don’t have the best of the bowling in contrary to the bowling attack of Hyderabad. We expect a close match and Sunrisers Hyderabad to be the winner.
